I don’t think so. Really, do think that if “scientists” had actually found some “magic cure” for obesity and for people who were overweight that there would still be so many obese people and so many people struggling to lose weight?

If scientists and doctors had some “magic” way or even a really good, easy way to lose weight we would all know about it and doctors would make that information available and recommend it to their patients.

I’m not directing this at you, but some people seem to think this way, that doctors are somehow scamming all of us to make money and don’t care whether we are healthy or noy…

a doctor’s job, what they spend years in school and years of training to do, is to keep their patients healthy. Neither doctors nor medicical science is perfect, there is a growing and changing body of knowledge, but that is what they, they try to keep their patients healthy, prevent diseases and disorder if they can and treat diseases and disorder that for one reason or another were not, or could not, be prevented.

They are not witholding information from their patient so that they and their colleagues can keep everyone fat and unhealthy and can rake in all the money from treating them for diabetes, high cholesteral, joint problems, heart disease and high blood pressure, etc. and any of the other effects that obesity and being overweight can cause.

Hilarious! That’s not even what a “green” (aka non roasted) coffee bean looks like.

Total marketing scam right here.

Chlorogenic acid is a pretty good laxative. Taking large doses of any laxative will help you lose weight (so called slimmer’s tea is made from senna leaves, for example) but that doesn’t mean it’s a healthy way to lose weight.

The funny thing about this question is that there are a bunch of fake accounts spamming Fluther with it at exactly the same time. That should tell you all you need to know about its effectiveness.

@_Whitetigress Funny, you got some spam immediately after you posted that. But of course you haven’t been seeing the other posts. The mods are good. A lot of it was on profile pages, too. When you consider the source, all signs point to scam. I’d stick to diet and exercise.
