How far would you go for chocolate?

Asked by TheobromosHumper (443points) January 21st, 2013

I don’t think there’s anything I wouldn’t do for chocolate. But let’s get real. What have you actually done for chocolate?

Hate to break it to you, but I’m actually not a fan of chocolate.

I have almost jumped out of the plane in Europe just to get my hands on a box of Bahlsen Choco Leibniz. I can’t get them where I live :(

To the corner discount store to buy a $3 jar of generic store brand Nutella.

I used to steal chocolate from the local 7/11 when I didn’t have any money. Imagine that! A college student who couldn’t even afford a candy bar! Eventually I got caught and was told never to come back. Funny. I don’t remember what I did for my chocolate fix after that. I think I sublimated with donuts. Whole wheat donuts, if you can believe that. They were totally amazing!

I like the odd bit of chocolate but i would never call myself a chocolate fiend and would not go to any special lengths to obtain chocolate.

I am satisfied with on or two Hershey’s kisses a year, or so. I’m not really much of a chocolate lover.

Dairy and gluten intolerances greatly hamper my chocolate consumption. There is chocolate I can have and I have baked and bought…

Every now and then I will say screw the consequences and eat some form of chocolate not in line with my diet I get sick for days. But every now and again it is worth it.

Can take or leave the stuff, so not far at all, the wife on the other hand would have me trek to Belgium, on foot, in the night, without any clothes on.
