What is an orphan question?

I was flipping through questions and on the top of General section it says Most recent, active, orphan….. So now I am curious

An orphan is a question in which there has been no response.

Note: If a member answers an orphan question that is at least two days old, and the response receives a Great Answer, it generates the Oliver Twist award.

@Smitha apparently questions regarding the Fluther site in general seems to fall in that category? :)
