Are there any other fans of Judd Appatow's "Freaks And Geeks" around ?

Do you have any favorite characters or episodes?

They’re re-running it on FXX and the pilot airs at 11:00 AM today (Sat., Aug.1) for any interested in taking another trip down memory lane. I taped its
first airing yesterday and just watched it.

I had forgotten that one of the leads was a really young John Francis Daley ( who plays the shrink, Dr. Sweets, on “Bones). It was so interesting to see what a good actor he was even then.

It’s such a shame that it wasn’t renewed after its first season. It was such a wonderful, true-to- life portrayal of the teen years.

They didn’t really allow it enough time to find its audience. It was such a quality show.

Even though it was 14–15 yrs ago, it still holds up so well
today.

The series remains the greatest example of a masterpiece ignored and under promoted that I can remember. I don’t know if it was the title that prevented people from watching, but those who missed or ignored it the first time around are making a mistake if they allow it to slip by them again.
