The kind of cartoon that a sore loser would produce.
I really do not think the elements of the cartoon are the reason the Democrats got beat up in the election.
My guess is, you probably don’t either.
But people have a tendency to make excuses for their failures instead of trying to learn from them. Human nature and all of that.
I have worked for myself and for the government, sometimes simultaneously.
The government is a moron.
I am not a genius by any standard, but the government is pretty fucked up.
And, generally speaking, so are the people who think the government is not pretty fucked up.
You asked…There you go.

@josie – I would agree but I think you give government too much credit.

Can either of you name a person who does not believe that the government is pretty fucked up?

I guess that cartoon would be great for sore losers who cry the sky is falling. psst, it already fell a few years ago with who they voted in originally.

I don’t think it has anything to do with anyone being a sore loser. It’s more frustration with the lack of choices and the predominance of money in politics.

The US is not at any big societal crossroads as we were in ‘68, or ‘80, or even ‘08. The economy is doing pretty damn well given how close we were to the brink of disaster in ‘07/‘08. But there was a huge amount of money spent this year for an outcome that won;t really change much.
