If John Lennon was not murdered, do you believe he would eventually have teamed up with his son Julian creating music and performing?

The title says it fairly complete, but in other words, would John and Julian have teamed up as a father and son duo had John not been murdered?

Most likely, but impossible to say. 34 years is a long time to surmise what could shake down between father & son. Given my sentiments yes. Like father like son.

Doubtful. Julian may well not have gone into his father’s profession – it’s perfectly likely that he would have done the opposite – many kids do.

My guess is that IF John had lived, Julian would not have been a musician and the two would never have played together.

The only thing I’m fairly sure of is that at 74, he wouldn’t be recycling golden oldies for concert crowds. He and his 81-year old wife Yoko wouldn’t be doing nude album covers, either.

Maybe, or maybe his son wouldn’t have even been interested in music if he had lived. Who the fuck knows….

As many children follow their parent’s footsteps you believe Julian’s desire for music came only because his father was killed? How would that influence him to be a musician over an architect, etc.? If he really wanted to be a brain surgeon don’t you think he would have even if his dad was killed?

I think it would have been more likely that he worked with Sean.
John and Julian did record a song together. Julian is on drums on “Ya ya”, which was on one of the posthumous releases.

How would anyone know or care? I mean, Imagine.
Hey Jude was as far as it was ever going to go…probably.

@hypocrisy_central His interest in music could have been driven by a need to feel closer to his dad. If John had been alive still, his son might have grown jaded to the fame and less inclined to choose a profession under the spot light.
No ones knows.
