Does Holly Sonders add a new "dimension" to traditional golf coverage?

Asked by josie (30934points) June 21st, 2015

I am watching the US Open on the TV tonight.
Occasionally, Holly Sonders does an interview with golfers after they leave the course.
She is as hot as can be.
She was hot shit at MSU.
She has a distinctive dimension.

Is this good for men’s pro golf?
And if not, how could it be bad?

You have already asked this question.

I think your details are lacking somewhat (though the pun content is ample). Why don’t you tell us why you think her looks affect the state of men’s pro golf? You are evidently working on a grand unifying theory of some sort.

Should I flag it?
The grand unifying theory may be right before our eyes. It’s just that most people these days are discouraged, one way or the other, from articulating it.

What on earth could discouraged you from articulating it? You don’t strike me as a person who is easily intimidated.

Any hot woman anywhere near a subject as sleep inducing as televised golf MUST be a refreshing anomaly

@stanleybmanly

I like occasionally watching golf on TV ( it gives me a vicarious experience) but I understand your point
Plus, it seems you understand mine.

I admit to a more than random urge to look at hot women.

She plays the same role in golf as Jamie Little does in NASCAR reporting. A cute face – eye candy – who knows a little about the sport but is a hot looking woman.

It seems demeaning to her to be the token babe (my opinion). But on the other hand, they pay her money to dress up and be on camera a couple times each week. Her choice.
