@shrubbery are you having a stroke?

Meh.

I’ve stopped watching trailers. They way they’re done these days they might as well run the credits afterward.

I’ll see the film at some point between now and the time it hits Netflix. Whenever.

In 1977, a good chunk of my baby-sitting income was spent on seeing Star Wars IV at the local theatre five times. When Star Wars V came out, I cried the whole way home knowing that it would be years before finding out what happens to Han Solo. VI was good until the final scenes, which just seemed to be a cloyingly sweet ending.

When series I-III started to come out, I saw the first two and didn’t care for either one of them. Never bothered with III.

Now that VII is due out in a couple of months and the SO made the offer to take me to it (he is not a SW fan), a renewed interest has cropped up. In this case, thank you for a link to the trailer. What really makes it appealing is two-fold: Hamill, Fisher and Ford are back in the limelight and that J.J. Abrams (one of the brains behind our beloved Lost series) is directing. Those two factors are worthy of paying the price to see it in the theatre vs. waiting.

Sorry, that was shrubbery speak for I’M SO EXCITED!
I can’t help it.
I tried not to get hyped up because its JJ Abrams and the prequels… well… you know
But the trailers have been so good and hhhhhhhhhhhh I just
I’m emotionally compromised
I got up early to get tickets for the midnight screening at IMAX but their website crashed… went with 9am the next day instead which is fine because the night before is my graduation anyway and I didn’t realise til after so I probably wouldn’t have been in a state to see it straight after that, 9am might also be a struggle but the power of the force will help me get over my hangover!

@ARE_you_kidding_me

Sorry, I am just soooo focused right now on what exactly an epic ass sucking entails I can’t even take the time to view the trailer.

It’s when one sucks ass in order to save Greece from the wrath of Poseidon.

Epic ass sucking can be summed up in three words: jar jar binks

I don’t even care if it sucks. I’m really looking forward to it. This is the price of having been a child of movie-going age in 1977.
