What do you think of the phrase "My own mind is my own church"?

Its one of the more famous quotes from Thomas Paine.

Thomas Paine was a secular humanist who believed that he could develop his own morals and ethical code without the influence of organized religion. He also supported the Freedom of Religion doctrine in the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution, promoting the separation of church and state, the lack of a national religion, and the right to practice whatever religion one chooses (or none at all).

@Love_my_doggie Yes that is correct. Thomas Paine was an awesome guy, I find his work inspirational.

I think it’s a great and awesome quote…. The mind is a sanctuary…. Keep the mind clean and close to God… I think it’s a cool quote and it makes sense to me.

@NerdyKeith Yeah it’s a really cool quote :)

There are a lot of quotes kind of similar to that, that shares the same message :) so I think the quote is spot on…..... Our mind is very important.
