Is there a tv dvr that doesn't require an internet connection?

I have a USB HDTV tuner connected to my computer. It works without an internet connecton, but that means there is no channel or schedule information.

Sadly it doesn’t work very well with Windows 10, t’s the single disappointment I have with Win 10. Windows 7 had a built-in media center that worked great with the USB tuner.

It kind of works with some open source like Plex, but it’s difficult to make it work with an over the air tuner.

I wouldn’t recommend it unless you really, really like tinkering with Windows and open source software.

^^Those are cool, You can hack them and use it for software defined radio.
