How do I watch the video in fullscreen?

Asked by Unofficial_Member (5107points) April 21st, 2017

I have found the video I want to watch on a website using my android phone. The problem is, the video screen isn’t fully shown on the page, only about less than ¾ is shown. I tried using the rotation technique to get the whole screen but it only show a little more than ¾ of the screen. Pinching the page to enlarge/minimize doesn’t work. Tapping the screen twice too won’t allow me to watch it in full screen. The problem here is that the full screen button is on the far right edge of the video screen and there’s no way for me to reach that button. What else could I do?

If this video is being shown for free, then showing partial screen is a way to avoid copyright infringement.

YouTube often advertises “Full Movies” or “Complete Movies” available for free screening. Here is an example:

Notice the shot is zoomed so that all of it will not fit into the frame. This is done by running the complete film through a photo editor in 125% zoom mode. All the footage is there, but the frame encompasses only 75% of each shot. This is done on purpose so the poster can post the film free of charge, avoid paying royalties to the production company and escape copyright infringement. It stinks.

As far as I know, there is nothing to be done to correct this.
