What do you suppose will be the result of prolonged testimony from Trump before a grand jury?

Bear in mind that the man will be compelled in the absence of his lawyers to talk at length after swearing under oath to tell the truth.

Can anyone recall an episode of Trump speaking for 10 minutes or longer minus some blatant and obvious distortion of the truth?

More material to mock the Orangutan and his supporters.

Do we know he himself will be subpoenaed?

Falsehoods, misdirection, and bald faced lies.

Can he not plead the 5th?

I don’t think he’ll be saying anything in front of a grand jury.

He will wave his right hand around (doing that highly-annoying ‘OK’ thing), and answer every question with tales of his days as an Apollo astronaut, when he alone was the first man to walk on the moon, not that ‘fake-news’ creation, Neil Armstrong.

All jurors will believe this, give him a standing ovation for making America grate again, then everyone goes home to watch FauxNews….

@Kardamom Do you believe Trump will not be summoned to testify?

Kardamom's avatar

@stanleybmanly If he is called at all, and he may not be (because even the people investigating this don’t want him trotted out just to have his base shit their collective pants and cause trouble) he will plead the 5th and that will be it.

@Kardamom . That’s what I thought… But I wasn’t sure.
