Are you as excited as me about a new Star Trek series with Picard as captain?

I just hope they don’t bring back Wesley Crusher. I like Wil Wheaton, but that character needed to die of some alien plague in the second season.

If the latest movies and that dreadful last series are anything to go by, no.

Never been a Picard fan. I am more of a Klingon fan. They bite.

I’m a grouch about sequels, franchises, and using familiar actors again and again and again. It’s a thirty-year old idea.

Bring in some fresh stories and talent.

I know a “Trekie,” would probably be mad, but I thought Picard was the best captain.

He also has one of those voices, that just makes you listen, and I think it fits the character well.

I’ll probably let the season pile up, and binge watch it.
