My Roku keeps cutting out, what should I do to fix it?

Asked by Pmeehan44 (11points) April 27th, 2019

I tried unplugging the cord for 30 seconds while plugging it back in several times. I even tried restarting the roku a few times, but nothing so far has happened.

Have you tried updating the software??? I think it is in the same section as to where do the restart. Similar to a computer, you just need to keep trying until you find out what it wants!!!

As an FYI…I’ve discovered that buying a smart TV with the Roku in it works much better than using the Roku device as an add on to my TV!!! IF you don’t need to have a 50” TV, you can get a name brand smaller one at Walmart for $125 (not that much more than the Roku itself) with the Roku installed. I’ve had my TV for almost 5 years & it’s onlly crashed maybe 4 times. OMG, I hope I didn’t just jinx myself!!!

Good luck getting yours back up & running!!!
