How might you react if a well-known politician went on camera and pulled a Greta Thunberg on the American people?

Greta Thunberg, the little Swedish girl who has been chewing out various world leaders about their inaction on climate change.

So: some well-known politician goes on camera and enumerates a handful of the worst problems we face. Then he/she says, “This is entirely the fault of the American people.”

How would you feel? Imagine both ways, first, someone on your “side”, and then someone on the other “side”. How would you react? What would happen to that politician? What if he added, “America, do better”? What would happen if he pulled a Jon Stewart and added, “America, you should be ashamed of yourselves”?

If I were U.S. citizen I would not vote for that politician who chooses to berate us.
Tell him that the worst for him is to not get voted in.

I would applaud it, and support the effort. Politicians who have done that have been ignored though.

Any one of the above named scenarios would make not a bit of difference. This is particularly true with the fool at the wheel. No one with any sense is unaware of the consequences to what we are doing. “In God we trust” should be eliminated from our coins and currency and replaced with either “Live for Today” or “Get it while you can (and take it all)”
