@lucillelucillelucille Are you channeling today’s Google doodle?

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@zenvelo – Boundless energy! As for the doodle, I did not see that, but I like his version of that song :)

My tune lately seems to be Jethro Tull’s Locomotive Breath. Yeah, I could use a change of tune.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@canidmajor -I have not heard that song for a long time.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ragingloli That’s a new one for me.

I am cynical, and that is almost always the proper way to be.

@lucillelucillelucille Haha
Hey, never mind the bollocks!

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme -I tried to paint with that CD playing in the background and found it to be a challenge…

@lucillelucillelucille I once painted our living room ceiling listening to one of the wife’s classic rock albums.
When Since You’ve Been Gone by Rainbow blasted out there was more paint on my face than the ceiling lol

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme I had that cassette.lol
All Night Long was my favorite.

Anytime is the right time for “Funky Town.”

Right now I’m feeling a need for this.
I spent three hours sitting in my wheelchair in the driveway pruning back a mini forest of small trees, and everything I cut was woven together by vines. My arthritic hands are weeping.

@Patty_Melt -I hope you feel better soon.

I go from really frustrated and fed up to happy and fine fairly easily. I’m in the moment and then I can switch. I call it compartmentalizing, my husband calls it bipolar. It’s not really bipolar at all though, not in the clinical diagnosis sense.

Sometimes I’m very reactive and start going down a tangent, most of my upset and angry feelings have to do with being diss appointed by people, but I usually tire of negative feelings quickly and focus on something more fun or happy. We do have some control over our emotions.

Right now I’m a little apprehensive about making some decisions, but trying to push through.

@lucillelucillelucille, I am suddenly feeling happier. My daughter just prank called me. She totally got me! She hasn’t involved me in anything playful for a long time. :-)

@Patty_Melt -Ha! ha! I like that! I’m glad you’re in good spirits :)
