Have any of you found yourselves losing track of where you are regarding the calendar during this pandemic?

For me it’s surprising and sometimes disturbing how easy it is to lose track of the days when there are no demands of schedules, meetings, appointments, deadlines. It is just so odd that there is nothing to distinguish the weekend any more. Is this what senility is all about?

A friend of mine who retired during the summer of the pandemic says he feels like everyday is groundhogs day.
I’m losing track of days, too, and I work.

No. I’m fortunate to still have a job.

Since I am a homemaker, every day has always been exactly like every other day, no weekends, vacations or holidays for me. I’m used to it.

When I had to replace my watch recently, I made sure I got one that tells me the date and the day of the week as well as the time. Otherwise, being retired and in lockdown I would lose track.

I’m working in the office a few days a week, half days, so the days get confusing.

When I worked in the office five days a week, every day when I’d wake up, my first thought would be what day it was. Now, when I wake up, I really have to think hard “what day is it?” It’s really confusing some days.
