I LOVE autumn leaves how pretty they are, but I HATE to rake them up all around the landscaping.

Hate shaving my legs, love how they feel after I do shave.
So maybe I shouldn’t wait 6 weeks in between shavings.

Eating the huge slab cake that I bought and don’t enjoy because of the thick icing on the sides with the confectionery disks. Yet I still eat a slice every day.

I also hate and love toaster strudels. I eat them with a little bit frozen. Next time I will try to toast it a little bit more.

Snakes. Always got a kick looking at pics of them in encyclopedias or online, and reading up about how dangerous some can be. But I usually freak out when I see one real world. My uncle once told me that I was a wild man when I was little, had a tendency to want to fight kids bigger than me, had no fear of the dark or big dogs or other usual kiddy issues. But would always run off if I saw a snake. He told me I saw a harmless grass snake in his garden once and took off running he had to chase me down in the street so I wouldn’t get hit by a car. Lol

Cooking. I love doing it when I’m in the mood to cook, but I hate cooking when it’s an obligation and I’m hungry.

Half the food I want to eat. I love the taste or how easy it is to make, or love it at a restaurant. I hate that it shortens my life because it has too much cholesterol and fat.

Things like steak, pizza, omelets, cookies, cake, French toast, hamburgers, grilled cheese, nachos, chicken, shrimp, basically anything not vegan, and even vegan things that are very fatty, sugary, and/or salty.

Snowstorms, when I had to work. I loved a good storm, and snow is so beautiful, but I would get stressed out at the thought of whether or not to drive in it, how much time to take off work (by staying home, and having to charge my time to my vacation time or personal time), or if a snow storm was coming, whether to go to work and then have to leave and possibly drive home in it, or to take the whole day off.

I always say snow is wonderful as long as you don’t have to drive in it.

One year, there was a sudden snow storm and I left work right when the flakes started to fall. I got home in about an hour, which was a tiny bit longer than my usual ride home. People who left just 15 minutes to a half hour later than I did had seven and ten hour rides home – some got home at 2 in the morning because it was the first storm of the season, the local road crews were not ready and did not anticipate it, and traffic in some spots was at a total standstill. People were posting on Facebook that they were three hours in the same spot. I think I would have gone nuts.

@jca2 I would have been scared to death. I’m glad that I don’t drive, well not normally anyway.
