Jack LaLanne. I had no father at home when I was a kid. It was just my two older sisters and my mother. I watched Jack LaLanne on TV and would try to do his exercises. I liked his positive and healthy attitude of life and he definitely had a positive influence on me. It was strange that people made jokes about him. Turned out that he was far ahead of his time. The world was lucky to have Jack LaLanne.

Pete Seeger because he was an activist folk singer and never sold out his beliefs.

Never one person, but I have a number of people (famous and not) I’ve admired certain things about.

I never idolized anyone or considered a role model that I recall.

Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction.
His routine consists of eating, sleeping for centuries, and blowing up a few planets every couple millennia to not get fired by his boss.
His life is everything I aspire to.

I don’t have a role model, but there are people I highly respect, like the Dalai Lama, Helen Keller, Harriet Tubman, and too many others to name.

I adore Gandhi, JFK, Lennon, Chuck Yeager, but I don’t see them as role models.
My father, sure, but I never thought I could be like him.
My role models really come from fiction. Hamlet and Ulysses.

Dale Robertson was a role model for me when I was a kid. I used to watch him with my dad in “Tales of Wells Fargo”.
