Does anybody here have their own website?

Asked by Lovelocke (1609points) October 30th, 2008

I do… but due to historical discrepencies reguarding moderation here, I’m not going to post it. Needless to suffice you had to have been blind to miss my site… anyway: If you have a neat site and have an affiliates section, be sure to shoot me a message on AIM = Lovelocke01

Do you have your own website? No, Myspace pages and the like don’t count. Sites that are “your favorite” don’t count either… I mean your own website that you do… “your thing” with.

Haha, Andrew is win.

No.

@as – That is an excellent use of “win”.

I have a site on Yahoo’s Geocities. They make it easy to set up a Web site. It is devoted to high school level math, which may not appeal to a lot of people, but I do get about 100 visits a day during the school year.

I don’t understand what you mean “discrepancies regarding moderation.” Is there a problem in giving your site’s URL?

Skyrail's avatar

Yes. At the moment it’s rather redundant, hopefully it’ll become the site it’s supposed to be sometime.

fireside's avatar

Yes. Like Skyrail, my site is still “in transition”

@pixel, that’s not a bad looking site. Good for you. Keep it up.

My site is http://www.atheistobserver.com I’m sure that doesn’t really shock anyone.

@bodyhead
Interesting site you have. I’m agnostic :)

bodyhead's avatar

Yea I write it with another local fellow. My only probably with it is that I’m probably not ‘in your face’ enough because (of course) the more controversy you have, the more traffic you will get.

bodyhead's avatar

*not ‘probably’ I meant “My only beef with it is that”

I have a two-year old portfolio site from when I finished college at http://www.benseven.co.uk which one day I’ll update.

Currently I’m playing with http://www.benseven.co.uk/onlife – going to be a blog / social media hub / wiki type thing. Please forgive the lime green sidebar links and general bugginess, it’s still in progress.

deaddolly's avatar

yep. and this is not the crowd for my site.

bodyhead's avatar

Hey deaddolly, what type of site is it? I’m intrigued.

deaddolly's avatar

It has to do with the shows I produce. Lots of pics of body suspension etc.
I’m sure I’d be labeled a SATANIST by some ppl on here.
oh, wait, I’m not supposed to type “ppl” like that…it annoys certain folks. oh, damn…

forestGeek's avatar

Yes. It’s a never ending work in progress: www.diypunks.com

Bri_L's avatar

I do not.

BUT I am psyched. I am going to be going to class soon to learn. I have programmed in Flash. Read books and such, but I am GETT’N DOWN with it now.

I may be asking Fluther for advice now.

augustlan's avatar

@DD: Will you PM me your site? Sounds interesting…

PupnTaco's avatar

I’m blogging/wasting time at Pup ‘n’ Taco (go figure), also my portfolio is at 3rd Eye Design.

@PnT: Where was that Obama 101 when I needed it? Good stuff. No matter, though, I convinced him anyway : )

shadling21's avatar

@dd – Yeah please PM! Though I can’t stomach some of that body suspension stuff. Also, I think that ppl should be more lenient about the use of “ppl” on Fluther. I often type it, then realize that it’s not really accepted here, then backspace and rewrite it…

augustlan's avatar

@PnT: I did email that to 2 friends, though. Not that I think it will change their minds…stubborn little shits.

PupnTaco's avatar

LOL, good to hear. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, let me know!

wondersteph's avatar
