I’m not sure about Google, but it’s possible to have a really successful, thriving business on Ebay. You have to have a good mind for business and what will sell, be diligent about acquiring stock, and have a highly efficient and organized process for shipping.

People make money off of Google through their AdSense program. Basically you put their widget on your website which puts advertisements on your site, and you get a bit (and it’s QUITE a small bit) of money each time people click on the ad. You need to have a website with a lot of visitors (who click on the ads, of course) to make money. Don’t even think of clicking your own ads, Google’s seen every trick in the book and they know how to detect fraud, and you’ll be banned from the program. From what I’ve heard, unless you have a really really popular site, you’ll be lucky to make $5 a month from AdSense.

Ebay is as useful as you make it. You can treat it like a garage sale, so if you have stuff, you can sell it through Ebay. You can treat it like a marketplace and either make wares or buy and resell stuff. Ebay and Paypal will take a cut of your profit though. With Ebay you have to be careful of scammers. Also, there’s no guarantee that your item will sell, or sell at the price you wish it would. You also need to be responsible about shipping the item on time and protected from damage.

You can also make a career out of using search engines for advertising and marketing if you know SEO – Search Engine Optimization. A lot of computer-techy stuff that can be explained here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_engine_optimization

Yes, If you use AdSense you are letting websites put their ads on your site or blog and they pay you for how many times people click on it.

Patience pays while planning to make money through google etc.Google AdSense and other paid advertising are just some of the ways. One can also write articles etc And then of course you have paid for searching programs.People are seen to use the same techniques some twists..to suit their requirements. It takes some time before it becomes a
” money machine”.

People really do yes. But as has been said it takes a lot of work. For a kick off, it’s worth only building pages that will have Adsense ads on them that are focused aroud keywords for which advertisers (the ones who pay Google to place ads on other sites) pay well for. Some keywords are not targeted by advertisers at all, others are highly in demand. The key to making Adsense work is getting lots of traffic.

Ebay can definitely work too. People do well when they build up a good reputation so people are quick to buy from them.

All in all doing well on the web simply requires getting lots of traffic to your site/store. [link removed by Fluther]

Of course people make money from Google. First off marketers use Google Ads to promote an unlimited number of products and services. When people are searching for a term whether it be to buy something or just researching people go to Google. Using Google as a way of promoting your goods is very lucrative. Secondly you can partner with Google and share the ad revenue with Google by placing ads on your approved website. The program is called Adsense. Having a YouTube channel which is one of Google’s properties allow you to make money in a number of ways. Things like do review or promotional videos and sending visitors to a salespage. Most channel owners with high subscriber counts and lots of video views are making a killing with the Google Ads revenue program also.
