Was the Adena Watson murder case ever solved in the TV show Homicide: Life on the Street?

The case haunted Det. Bayliss throughout the series. Was the case ever solved?

Yes/No***. Bayliss and the his partner Pembleton feel it for sure it was the old black man who use to be a traveling vendor with his horse but they could never make the case stick. Not enough evidence.
