Sometimes. Depends on the situation. Your question is very open. Do you have more details?

I’m still waiting, I will let you know if it ever happens.

Patience is a virtue.

Besides, who likes runny ketchup?

I gather by your tags that you’re waiting for someone to love you. If it’s a general, vague kind of ‘someone’ then I’d say yes. If it’s a specific someone, chances are much slimmer. If I’m totally off base here, please let me know.

in the world of love and relationships…definitely… the older you become, the wiser you become, the more honed and focused you are as a person and the more you understand what you want and what will make you happy…

When it comes to the lottery, no. I’ve been waiting for winning numbers for years and I’m still S.O.L.

Good things can come to those who don’t wait too, but depending on the situation, that can likely be met with some unpleasant after effects…Like loser said, it really depends on what you’re actually talking about, lol.

no…i’m not waiting for someone to love me..i have already friends who love me more then i could imagine(no i’m not being self-centered)i’ve stopped waiting around for guys…i was just wondering what ya’ll thought about waiting for good things to come to you instead of chaseing after them..

dirtydevil521's avatar

one of my friends asked me that today and it really got me thinking and i just thought it would be a good idea to see what other people thought about waiting

As for chasing after good things, I’d say that’s not the best route to take. Pursuing, in a planned way, is probably more effective.

Makes me think of the John Gorka song, “A Saint’s Complaint.” The chorus contains the lines: Once I heard a saint’s complaint/
He said, good things come to those who ain’t.

Perhaps your expectations decrease as time goes by…................
