It’s crazy how much less merchandise is in the stores that ARE open. Nordstrom had no black socks!

We got a NEW Earth Fare! Awesome! (The space had been vacated by another grocery chain about 3 years ago). I’ll pay extra for good Greek yogurt just to keep them in the neighborhood.

We’ve had stores closing in our area for a long time. You walk through the mall & there’s a lot of empty places. Then in yesterday’s paper, they say they’re trying to get new retail to come in to town. I want to say “what?!” We can’t keep what we had. Why drag some other chain in just to have it fail?

Goodys, Circuit City, Bear Rock Cafe, Pac-Sun, and Steve and Barrys.

Too many to count. In malls, in small strips, everywhere.

The AT&T Wireless outlet near me had to move from its big retail front to a smaller one down the road. Where I live is like a small town, so the stores that are there now have been there forever.

We actually got a new business in the neighborhood recently that’s has to be making money hand over fist, a Five Guys burger joint.

Cicuit City and Linens and Things, both in the same plaza closed in the past couple of weeks.
