What is the single best experience you've ever had in your life?

I was in New York for spring break back in 2001. I saw Jon Stewart on the street. I tickled him for about a second and ran away. I was really drunk at the time.

I’m shocked that I haven’t shared that before.

Every single moment I spend with my daughter is a miracle. I’ve been trying to single out one to describe here on fluther, but I can’t. So I’ll leave it at that. Kids are so wonderful!

When I got the internship of a Famous American TV Show my junior year of college. Usually, the producer would interview the candidates and let them know the outcome with a letter a couple of weeks later.

I got a place for the spring semester on the spot. I was so proud.

Freshman year of college. Hands down.

When I was in my early 20’s I fell ill with Ulcerative Colitis and was hospitalized. While recovering I couldn’t go out much because I always felt lousy. My friends would go out drinking all the time but I had to stay home. I became socially awkward and reclusive. So, a friend and I decided to take a trip. We threw some clothes in a backback and flew to Seattle. After several days in a hostel we took the Greyhound to Sacramento, spent several days in Portland, Santa Cruz and San Francisco. We met many great people, ate fabulous food and drank in seedy bars. It was an incredible experience and helped break me out of my shell. No rules or plan. We just went and made it up as we went along. It was just what the doctor ordered(or didn’t).

Being a wife and mom trumps everything else. I’ve had so many spectacular experiences, but having the most fun kid and the best husband simultaneously makes for a perfect life experience.

Being born was a pretty awesome experience since it allowed all of the ensuing great experiences.
