I do like love. I like that it isn’t the ulitimate goal in life but I love offering my thoughts on this question.

_bob's avatar

@Bluefreedom So what is the ultimate goal in life?

Kelly27's avatar

I don’t just like love, I love love. ;)

@bob_. To make sure that my very existence and everything in it has been worthwhile until I die. Love is a part of that but it certainly isn’t the ultimate goal.

FGS's avatar

@bob_ Of course…It’s a classic where we came from question :)

_bob's avatar

@Bluefreedom So, wait, your existence is the ultimate goal of your life? Is it me, or is there some heavy circular logic there?

Bluefreedom's avatar

@bob_. I did a little edit to my answer. “To make sure that my very existence and everything in it has been worthwhile until I die”. That says a lot.

In essence, the goal is to make sure that I work diligently to have a great life filled with great experiences and memories.

_bob's avatar

@Bluefreedom That makes more sense :)

forestGeek's avatar

I sure do like love too! The ultimate goal in life is to make it to the end with the least amount of fuck-ups as possible! I’m not sure I’m doing so well thus far though…

_bob's avatar

@forestGeek Trial and error can be tricky sometimes.

Bluefreedom's avatar

@bob_. Sorry for the confusion. =)

_bob's avatar

@Bluefreedom No problem, thank you for your thoughts :)

forestGeek's avatar

@bob_ – yes it can. Yes it can. Love definitely makes the errors not seem so bad though!

I dunno, dove doesn’t clean as well as dial does. Although it does feel better. Smells nicer, too. I used to go for Irish Spring (green is my favorite color), but my doctor said it was the reason I was getting such dry, itchy, skin.

What? Oh. Love? Not dove?

Nevermind.

_bob's avatar

@daloon Dude, Irish Spring sucks.

augustlan's avatar

Dove is the best!

wundayatta's avatar

@bob_ Now, you tell me!

@daloon Better late than never.

There are so many different kinds of love. And I think I like them all. Even the saddest feelings, like mourning (I would classify this as a type of love,) feel, at least in some way, rather nice, even though there’s so much negativity surrounding them.

SillyGirl's avatar

Yes I love, love…..every moment of my existence I want to give and take from it, where love is, I want to wonder, spread it like an incurable disease for it makes me happy and it makes life, beautiful…:)

” this question will forever remind me of a place where many loved to love, love…:)”

chelseababyy's avatar

No, I don’t like love.
I loooooove love.

I love the tingling feeling I get when I see that smile.
I love waking up to a shower of kisses.
I love how he makes me feel safe.
I love daydreaming about us, in the future.
I love being able to finish his sentences, still.
I love being able to believe in someone fully, other than myself.
I love having to make 5 extra meals a day, do 2 more loads of laundry a week, and wash twice as many dishes every single day.
I love saying stupid things to hear that laugh, to know I can make someone happy.
I love feeling like there’s emotions I can’t control, ones way beyond my reach. (and feeling like even if I could reach them, I would still probably let them be.)
I love knowing I make a difference to someone, that I bring out the best in someone, in him.
I love being in love,
I love love itself,
and I love being able,
to fully love another.
