I come here to learn new things and to be inspired to think.

I am addicted to the wonderful and knowledgeable people who inhabit this place. Most everyone I consider a friend, and just a few are equal to enemies. if you don’t have any enemies, then you haven’t been trying hard enough.

I think the answers that people give are very interesting. I enjoy debating with people who don’t share my viewpoints. I think its the best way to learn.

I mostly come here for shits, sometimes giggles.

@jackm the best way to learn is to associate with people that are passionate about the things they know.

Mostly the randomness of the questions makes me chuckle when I go down the list which I like, and the majority of them are good questions in addition to that and are interesting to read about. I’ve grown to quite like some of you folks…and plus, anything I ever need to ask, now I got a place to do it. woooo.

To relax and get a break from a life in turmoil. A sort of mental spa.

I am always interested in answering new questions (and sometimes posting new ones myself) and so I try to come back on a daily basis to see if there are any discussions that I can either take part in or learn from.

Sometimes I wonder why I keep coming back. Especially after having an encounter with someone that is very rude and disrespectful. Then I look at all the fabulous jellies on this thread and I’m reminded why. =)

Why?-

For advice and support when I need it.
To give advice and support when it is needed.
To laugh with friends.

I originally came to fluther when Askville went down the crapper. I followed several AVers here. In doing so, I’ve made new friends & I found a new home. The variety of questions here are, shall we say, interesting, LOL I’ve learned a few things, have been disgusted by some people, have laughed my head off at some & have rolled my eyes at others. Two people in particular when I see their posts, I just move on. I won’t even waste my time in reading their posts. Others, I search them out. This place is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.
