What is better a psp console or a psp 3000 console?

I am thinking on buying a PSP console or a PSP 3000 console and I want to know which is the right one for me. I know the 3000 has a better screen and you can play it outside aswell as inside. I dont have a credit card to use the PSN internet stuff on it. Do I need one and I only want to use it for the games. Which one is better for me for playing only games on it? I dont want to spend alot of money on a console. I need a PSP console before next year.

Depends. Are you going to mod yours? And since you dont have a credit card getting the Pspgo is out of the question.

Obviously the newer one is a better more advanced system, and it’s going to cost more money, but if you only want to play games the old one is better for you.

Well I think you can still get a new PSP 2000 at some stores but not very likely. Especially since the PSPgo is out. If you’re going to mod yours and you’re impatient than I’d suggest you get the 2000. Otherwise just get a 3000. Its got a better screen. And I think some hackers have recently discovered how to hack the firmware.
