Do you have a personal theme song?

Asked by lonelydragon (7765points) December 13th, 2009

If so, what is it, and why do you relate well to that particular song? My current favorite at the moment is “It’s My Life” by No Doubt, because it’s a great response to people with controlling tendencies.

This Muse song. Not so much the lyrics as the feeling that you get from the music. It’s pretty freeing. You break free from the chains, you feel as though you’re flying and you then see the beauty that surrounds you. There is so much out there for you (me).

@peedub That song is one of my favorite “guilty” pleasures to listen to when no one’s around to laugh at me.

At the moment it feels like “Blackbird” by the Beatles because I’m struggling with some issues. A more positive take on the feeling would be “Here Comes the Sun” also by the Beatles.

I sometimes use the theme from “The A-Team”. Otherwise, I wish I could have my own personal soundtrack a la Peter Griffin.

evandad's avatar

At the moment I’m going with the theme from “Terms of Endearment”, but it could change.

lonelydragon's avatar

@proXXi Yes, I know that the No Doubt song is a cover, but I didn’t think anyone here would be familiar with Talk Talk.

Not really, but I’m partial to “the wind cries Mary” but there are so many songs with Mary in the title that many are given to me by pals.
