Help! I have over 200 questions in my "Activity for You"! What can I do about it?

Asked by La_chica_gomela (12574points) January 16th, 2010

I have over 200 questions there, that I don’t really care to read, and I really don’t care to go through and click “Stop following” 200 times. What’s a girl to do?

It appears as if that’s your only option. I don’t see a ‘remove all’ option anywhere. Sorry.

Click “Remove All”.
You see where the “Not Interested” buttons are? Look right above the very top one of those. In bold letters. Remove All. Click on that one.

@Sarcasm Activity for You, not Questions For You.

When I have a ton of them in there that I don’t care to follow anymore, I delete 10 -20 at a time, then do something else for a while. Later, come back and do more.

If there’s one thing I don’t do on this site, it’s let “Activity for You” pile up. I think the most I ever had was 25 or so. I’m afraid there’s nothing you can do but go through them. :(

@Sarcasm You’re thinking of Questions for You, not Activity for You.

Edit: I did not see @jeffgoldblumsprivatefacilities‘s post. Total coincidence that I said almost the exact same thing.

LOL, I have 482 questions in my “Activity for You” section. Beat that!

In the future click on “stop following” on questions after you are satisfied you have seen all the answers you care to see.

@DominicX I’m the same, I keep on top of my “Questions for you” and my “Activity foryou” so it never gets unbearable. Plus I especially love the “Activity for you” because it means that someone else has added to threads that I have taken an interest in.

1039 Activities for You here. Why dump them? Are they using up storage space?

I bet there are people who find this feature very useful, but I like to see all the questions. Some of them would never show up in “my” specialized list.

@Dr_Lawrence: That doesn’t help me with my current problem.
@susanc: You’re thinking of “Questions for You”. “Activity for You” is the list of questions you’re following.
@holden: Welllllllll, I have 613 questions for me. Can you beat it? Ehhh? Eh? ;-)
