Gaze into your Nintendo crystal ball: Do you think that there will be a price drop on the DS Lite soon?

Asked by buckyboy28 (4961points) January 27th, 2010

Do any of you folks think that a DS Lite price drop is on the horizon? The DSi just came out, and the DSiXL isn’t too far off, so do you think that this will mean that the Lite will be dropping down in price soon?

I want to buy one, but if it is going to be dropping soon, I can wait.

I would love a price drop, but my mom would never let me get one. I have a Nintendo Advance (Ancient – I know!) and I’m getting really bored of the old games I have. I can’t find any more of them. Seems like they’ve stopped making ‘em. My mom says I play the gameboy and am on the computer enough…

Now that I’ve bought one for my ten year old, I’m sure it will. That’s all they were waiting for.~

@Trillian That was my thought, we just bought both of the kids their own DS, so with my luck, they will drop in price!

They will eventually. I still am bummed for giving up my DS lite a while back just so my younger brothers could have credit for an Xbox 360!
The damn DS was only worth a mere $10, just because it wasn’t in good condition and incomplete! I regret trading it in…
I hope they price does drop, because I would really like another one. All I have is the original DS right now with an R4 so I don’t have to waste money on games.
