What is a good website to listen to full length songs?

Asked by smokeweedeveryday (579points) May 7th, 2010

I want to listen to songs without downloading them. And i want to listen to the whole song, not just 30 seconds of it.
Any suggestions?

last.fm has most songs. pandora, but you cant really pick what plays on there, it’s still an awesome site though.

Well there is one problem. The school blocks certain kinds of websites.

@Akiora Yup! Grooveshark is great… unless you’re looking for obscure songs. You can actually create a free Grooveshark account and make playlists. I believe they’re pending a lawsuit though so enjoy it while it lasts!

I use Youtube or Grooveshark.

lala.com was working well for me and you can send the whole song to someone for free. However, soon after I joined, they said they are being bought by iTunes and shutting down as of the end of May.

free.napster.com is great if you want to choose a song and Pandora is great for listening to a certain type of music that you like

Playlist.com. I’m surprised no one’s suggested it!

8tracks.com and musicovery.com are another couple of good ones

youtube is definetly the best one. for example if you wanted to hear california gurls by katy perry type in the search bar ‘california gurls by katie perry’ and tons of videos will show up.
youtube.com

@tylerandcason Awww, how cute! The over-helpful first answer. Look at you with your unnecessary elaboration. That’s great. Welcome to Fluther.

You get 1 little lurve, then someone likes what you said, and you get 6 lurve! And now you’re hooked.
