What's the proper golf etiquette in the following situations?

Asked by Adirondackwannabe (36713points) June 18th, 2010

1.You walk up to the tee, line up your shot and swing. The balls still sitting on the tee. You wiffed
2. Your opponent walks up to the tee, swings, and drives the tee three times as far as the ball. He hit that far under the ball.
3. Your partner hits a nice layup approach shot to allow for a water hazard. You miss hit the ball off the tee, it skims over the cart bridge crossing the water hazard. and rolls up to the green.
Do you laugh? These shots actually happened the other night. What’s proper?

It all depends on who it is…ok,I laugh….ALOT!
It’s a game! My friends can take a joke,If not ,I won’t golf with them ;))

it’s bad form to laugh out loud at that, but my friends and ihave fun on the course. If I mess up a shot ,I can laugh about it ,and launch a club into the stratosphere in a fit of rage-no,not really;))

Maniacal laughter. No doubt whatsoever.
