well, he is GIVING every person that files a tax return $600. Sounds like a considerate action to me.

MrKnowItAll's avatar

You are correct. It is you that he doesn’t give a crap about.

afghanmoose's avatar

wow I c busch lovers in this discussion, but u hafta confess,he did fuck up on Iraq.

Cardinal's avatar

It’s you. (Notice, I spelled both words correctly).

Perchik's avatar

May I point out that our president’s last name is Bush, not busch?

You’re either legitimately stupid or your typing is just terrible, either way I’m going to have a hard time making an argument that you can understand. So I’m not going to try. The Iraq question has already been asked and had good answers. The economic question has already been asked and had good answers.

nayeight's avatar

um he doesnt give a crap about the people….when did it ever seem that way? He cares about money and getting to be president. He followed in daddys footsteps & got back at saddam so life for him is pretty peachy. Does he care that he’s the WORST president we’ve ever had? Of course not, we elected him not once but twice into office. Because we as Americans are too busy paying attention to american idol, Paris hilton, and britney spears vagina to care

hairypalm's avatar

okay, sick of stupid questions(other than mine). Yup you are right, we just get deployed to Iraq and sit there. We do nothing. Yup we just go over there and we don’t teach the Iraqis anything. We don’t help out the community over there by providing medical treatments and teach them ways to better there life. We don’t help build schools so there kids can have a better place to learn. Nope we just get deployed and do nothing. I could go on for a long time, but I’m going to stop here. I just relized I have better questions to answer. Have a great day!

nayeight's avatar

I mean, did anyone here honestly believe that even if 911 and the war didn’t happen that he wouldve done a good job?

Perchik's avatar

Well some people had to vote for him in the first place. That usually means they think he’d do a good job.

nayeight's avatar

I hope that hairy palm is not defending the war. Oh isn’t that cute? The troops are helping the Iraqis live better, building them schools and giving them food when all around the world there are thousands of people dying from lack of food and water. Isn’t that sweet of us kind Americans to lend our troops to the Iraqis out of all the people in the world who might desperately need our help. That george bush really cares about people to send our troops all the way over there to get rid of their evil president and fight terrorism and save the people.

Perchik's avatar

I think it’s fair to say that we shouldn’t have been in there in the first place, but I think what he’s trying to argue is that we have done some good while in there. Sadly none of that gets reported here and it just looks like a dismal failure.

robmandu's avatar

Any chance the querent did not misspell Busch (other than improper capitalization)... but instead misspelled August A. as “George a”?

If so, then no, he probably doesn’t give a crap about the people as he’s got an empire to run.

allen_o's avatar

he’s not even human, only a monster could kill his own people the way bush did in new York, then use it to justify 2 pointless wars leading to immeasurable damage to the world. Fuck George bush, fuck him right in the arse!

robmandu's avatar

Anyone wondering what allen_o is talking about can look here.

Watch that first step… it’s a doozy.

afghanmoose's avatar

all I can say is,hurricane katrina,we went to Iraq faster than aid went to new Orleans, and I hafta agree with nay,and the spelling is the iPhone auto check that I don’t notice at times.bottom line perchick is that a government and president is for the the people, not against, before the war in Iraq didn’t we have the worlds largest prostest, wasn’t it like 500,000 in new York,200,000 in Paris, something like that around the world!not just America and yet this current regime couldn’t care less, ive met lots of bush supporters that aren’t too happy with his decisions, then I wonder, why do u still support him?!?! Because your a republican???your an American first before you divide yourself into parties to argue.

Perchik's avatar

I just had to read your post three times before I understood what you were saying. Your argument is just finger pointing and yelling. You’re not actually proving anything.

For the record, re-read my posts. I never said I supported Bush.

MrKnowItAll's avatar

The unfortunate reality is that G.W. Bush thinks he is Possessed. He thinks that there is this really old dead guy living inside his body (his heart, I believe). He actually believes this dead guy TALKS to him and tells him that he’s doing “one heck of a job”. Many of his supporters suffer similar delusions.

afghanmoose's avatar

mr know,is that rue?!?!?!

robmandu's avatar

@afghanmoose, gee whiz, MrKnowItAll is simply referring to Chrisitianity in his last post… which a substantial portion of the world’s population would disagree with his (egregiously ill-informed) opinion on, not that it matters.

trainerboy's avatar

I actually don’t know George W Bush whom I assume you are speaking of so for me to say he doesn’t care about people would be to state as fact that which I do not know…hence, it would be a lie. I don’t know if he cares. Just because someone does or says things differently than I might does not mean he or she cares less about people. We can all have different points of view and still care.

trainerboy's avatar

Nayeight,
You state as fact that he doesn’t give a crap about people. Obviously you have met him and he told you this otherwise you wouldn’t say it as a fact or you would be a liar. We know that can’t be true because you wouldn’t do that. When did he tell you that all he cares about is money? I am sure this is FACT and you KNOW it. Imagine, telling something as truth without accurate information. Isn’t that what you accuse him of doing?
In your opinion, he doesn’t give a crap is what I believe, but to say it as a fact is speaking out your ass. Some might even consider it the ever popular “hate” speech.
Opinions are one thing but if you know for a fact he doesn’t care, and disagreeing with you doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, give us the facts that you know, not just your opinion. I can respect your opinion but not the lies. You don’t know him so don’t act and speak like you do.

nayeight's avatar

oh trainerboy, I’m glad we’re having this little chat. Yes, I did have a little chat with dubya and u wanna know what he told me? He told me that does not care about any of us, least of all black people. Yep blacks and gays. Oh and women too, the ones who are smarter than him anyway. He also told me that he doesn’t really care about the Iraqis either (its just not the american way). Oh and he doesn’t like mexicans either, except for pedro from napoleon dynomite because he made him laugh.

trainerboy's avatar

So you are a liar.

nayeight's avatar

No I swear, he said that he really related to the scene where pedro shaves his head because he gets hot flashes sometimes & is always really tempted to shave his. I told him it probably wouldnt be a good look for him. He agreed.

trainerboy's avatar

And you keep campaigning for your limitations because of the prejudice of everybody else and above all else, do not look in the mirror because it could in no way be YOU who is prejudiced and bigoted!!!!. You are a victim and you have no power to change anything because of so many other people.
Keep believing that. What would your world be like if you didn’t have someone to complain about?
Moreso, what would someone like Jesse Jackson do if all black people actually climbed up the social ladder? He wouldn’t have a platform. Maybe HE is the one that wants you to feel oppressed so he can have a power platform. I know, no way. Only a closed minded person would consider anything other than what you say. There is only one possibility to an open minded person like you and anybody that sees it different must not care.
I will not get in your way and God Bless America, you have the right to complain as much as you want!!!

nayeight's avatar

I don’t feel oppressed, u’ve got me all wrong. I just really think that dubya is a HORRIBLE president. And what is this business about Jesse Jackson? Wtf? Not all black people listen to Jesse Jackson, but thanks anyway for the wonderful example. I’m not predjudiced nor am I a bigot. And y the helll would god (if he existed) bless america?

Perchik's avatar

It’s sad that you are both attacking each other, (and that all of us are either on one side or the other for that matter), but there are points for good discussion here. Can I just ask, as a casual onlooker, that we stop attacking each other?

As far as God Blessing America…. I actually did not see the problem with Rev. Wright’s (Obama’s Reverend that’s been in the news recently) statements. A lot of what he said was legit… It could have been said better, but sometimes people are tired of hearing it said that way. So I agree.. God Damn[ed] America.

sidenote…I also agreed with Michelle Obama’s statement about how she wasn’t proud to be an American

nayeight's avatar

ok ok I’ll stop if trainerboy agrees that a shaved head would not be a good look on dubya….

oneye1's avatar

I think you all need to shut up and look at hairypalms post he served over there for my freedom and yours have any of you been there seen what we are doing if not keep quit about what you think you know Sunday night on fox news at 8 Oliver north is having 5 year deal on war stories you should watch see what the heroes fighting the war have to say

trainerboy's avatar

God bless you

afghanmoose's avatar

obama 08!we really don’t have a say in anything, unless we do something about it.we elect a president, then we ridicule him for the many negative things he’s done.has anyone taken a background check before casting there ballot in the first dubya election? He never had a passport before becoming president!!!but hey what’s done is done,I just hope the next president knows what the people want

susanc's avatar

The wild thing about this conversation is how fiercely we feel all the things we’re saying (me too.) I have to say that the speech Obama made on race the other night – you can access the text through the NYTimes online – was startling in its willingness to see both
sides of each thing he discussed. This is hard to do. It’s hard for anyone. But we get really mad if someone else doesn’t do it. We tell them our rules for openmindedness. Because we crave openmindedness, we crave balance, we crave fairness, we crave the complexity of truth. God love us. Can we not forgive each other for being fools, and continue?
Thank you hairypalms for your work. None of us has any right to contradict what you tell us because you were there. Thank you nayeight for your report on your talk with GWB. We can be proud that fluther has its own White House correspondent.

afghanmoose's avatar

Nayeight,u really met dubya and he said all that?

nayeight's avatar

Yeah….he’s a talker man. He told me all sorts of crazy stuff like a few of his deepest, darkest secrets.

afghanmoose's avatar

ok thats not funny:/
