Free software to replace Indesign?

I need to open some indd files (InDesign) and possibly work on them but my PC with InDesign on it has CRASHED and I only have this one that is alive

Do you think you could install the free trial of InDesign on your current computer to use until you can get your full copy back? From what I can tell there’s no other way to view indd files for free. ):

@retroMIDI Try this site. http://software.informer.com/getfree-image-viewer-indd/ There’s a lot to wade through, but it might help. I found it with the search term “view indd files for free” (no quotes.)

Similarly http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/view+indd+freeware/

Google returned 606,000 results for me.
