Question
Have a question about something?
Ask Fluther!
we are both really shy and not talkitive I have 3 days what do I do?
Ask him out. I will paypal you 20$ for the date so I never have to hear about your love life ever again.
Ask him out. What have you got to lose…..your dignity? Plus you get 20 bucks. So its a win-win situation :)
Serisously, if you don’t atleast try you will always wonder what could have happened.
Start talking to him more. Ask him all his interests. Ask him if he wants to “hang out”, but don’t ask him on a “date”. If all goes well, and your personalities click, ask him if he wants to go out again sometime. And make sure to get his phone number.
Sorry to be the party pooper, but isn’t there something in the Fluther agreement about a minimum age?
@playthebanjo
The federal law states that no one under 13 may enter personal information on the internet. I’m not sure about the “Fluther law”.
@ jp – i promise to never discuss my love life on fluther, if you paypal me the money! and yes, i do have paypal, so no worries there :)
true dat. me too….and if you don’t paypal it to me, i am gonna start posting questions about my love life every day until you throw up the $20 into my paypal.
Ahhhh… the crises of the thirteen y.o.
Hmmm… lemme think. You could a) ask him out yourself or b) not.
Oh, the humanity!~
People, can we stop talking about Paypal and your love lives. She is having a problem, and needs some adive. Put this discussion to the side, and help her out.
Make sure he knows that you are easy (if you are). That will convince him for sure. (please note that I did not say you were easy…I don’t know you…you might not be).
omg in 13 I’m sure you were the same when you were 13 and if you could care less then don’t answer I don’t want you bitchy comments
what’s with the 3 day deadline? and if you want to go out with him, just ask him out! it’s pretty simple. as for what words should you use…“hey, do you ever want to go out sometime?” should do the trick.
@ jp – it’s sad our friendship had to end this way. :P
iCeskate What is there to lose by not being direct? If you tell him you like him and would he like to go out sometime, he will either say yes, which is good, or no in which case you won’t have to see him after the three days. So, the only way you really lose is if you let this chance slip by.
Also, at 13 girls are much more able to express feelings for the opposite sex than boys. He will pobably be thrilled that you asked.
Try it! Good luck.
I’m doing a summer school class for pe so I don’t have to take it during the year and were goings to different schools and three days are left
it was only 11 days long and 80 people are in my class (over populated school and its a summr outside class) and we just saw each other a couple days ago
@iceskate, don’t pay attention to the comments you don’t like, it’s good to have a laugh, yeas, we all were 13! go ahead, text/call/tell the guy, something cool and casual, and classy, something like, I’m going for ice cream, i can have some company, and then just talk, if you are shy, guess what, time to be brave! life passes by and you’ll never be 13 again, besides, it’s just ice cream and talk :)
good luck
@jp
Send the $20!
u just made me laugh!
I would send the 20 if I knew were to send it. I’m sure she doesn’t want to send her physical address to me. And I know I don’t want to receive it. creepy
@ iceskate – you can set up a paypal account here . all you need is an email address. once he sends the money to your account, you can give paypal (very secure site) your bank account # (or your parent’s bank account #) and they will direct the money to that account. once your parents get the money, you can ask them for the cash.
And I will pay. But you have to ask the guy out.
And please don’t tell your parents that some random guy you know from the Internet is sending you money. I went to jail once, I can’t say that I ever want to go back.
The hilarity of the discussion so far reaches a number of different levels. But yeh, if anything just be yourself. If anything ever hits off so to speak you don’t want to live a false reality huh? I always act myself, which may explain why I’m still single ;) but I’m not fooling anyone, especially not myself.
Awesome! How was I not part of this? Bummer. Nice move jp! Now all the thirteen year old with relationship problems will want $20. Hahaha! We can start a drive, pay to keep relationship problems off fluther! Wait, I would probably misuse that…. ; )
@iCeskate- look, if if you go to different schools, your already destianed to fail because its hard doing any distance relationship when you can’t go see your boy/girlfriend when you want. Its not that bad though. Youll soon get over it and maybe be glad you didn’t. But hey, feel free to make your own decisions. Its like everyone said, your choices are do it or don’t.
I don’t care about the “relationship problems” anymore I was just pissed just so mad yesterday now all I think about is what I’ll be spending my money on
ya but to update everyone I’m not interested in him any more I have my eye on someone else
Btw jp i still have to pm you the info!
Careful @iCeskate, you’re perilously close to violating the original terms of @jp’s offer.
I still think you should buy the potato chips. Maybe that should be your next question…what should you spend your $20 on.
She won’t get the money because jp’s terms included that she must ask the guy out to get the dough. since no longer interested in guy, no dough. tough break.
“Ask him out. I will paypal you 20$ for the date” – this sentence implies there is a DATE to pay for.
