Does anyone know the story of those Russian kids that were adopted by American parents ?

Asked by Scarlett (915points) October 17th, 2010

It’s a story I’m trying to look for, I saw it on the news a long time ago.

It was about an American couple who adopted like 7 brothers and sisters all from Russia.

But they had trouble getting them, and it was recorded. I remember hearing news that even the airlines themselves paid for the trip so they could all go home together.

The couple also changed all the kid’s names to American names.

Does anyone know the name of this story ? I think I heard of it 5 years ago ?

I was a little hasty with the above link. After looking closer I notice the kids were from Utah. This is another story about a family of 3 Russian children adopted by one couple. I doubt I’ll find anything more than this.
