How would you vote on Florida Amendment 4? (Florida Residents)

Asked by CaliBuddz (141points) November 2nd, 2010

What’s your stance on amendment four? I do not see anything wrong with requiring a vote by the people for land use plans but all I hear about is how costly it is.

YES on 4!
Developers have had their way far too long in Florida communities and the result has been the destruction of beautiful beaches, wetlands and nearly everything that makes Florida attractive in the first place. It is time that the citizens have a say in what is built and where it is built. We live here. We should be able to determine the future of our environment.

The costs are being exaggerated by guess who? The very same wealthy developers and their lobbying groups that are flooding the airwaves with their adds. The opposition is barely being heard because they are being drowned out by the developers and their massive add budgets. Welcome to American Democracy.
