"Just Dance" vs "Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party"?
My wife and I are looking to buy our 6 yr old daughter a Wii game that both she and my wife can enjoy. Which one do you guys suggest? Which is the better pick?

I find DDR to be kind of difficult because I’m not overly coordinated or good at following dance steps. However, I LOVE ‘Just Dance’ (and they just came out with Just Dance 2, which sounds even better!). I’m not a great dancer, but it doesn’t matter that much, particularly if you get the first one because it’s not as good at tracking your movements as the second one.
I am planning on getting Just Dance 1 & 2 when I get a Wii.. totally fun workout.
It’s sad that the new DDR games aren’t so great. My friend has DDR Hottest Party, and not only are the songs not that great, but it’s a lot harder. Not only do you have to do the foot coordination, but they add hand movements with the WiiMote and nunchuck controllers that you have to do. I’m a pretty seasonsed DDR player (been playing since ‘04), but I found these additions annoyingly difficult. You can disable some of the more difficult elements, but meh…
I’ve never played Just Dance, but from what @MissAnthrope says, it sounds pretty good for what you’re looking for.
