How do I get to my earliest page of 'Responses' or 'Questions 'here in fluther for eg., in one shot?...

Asked by flo (13313points) November 19th, 2010

I know how to do it by trial and error, but that would take a long time. I can’t see having to click ‘Older’ (at the bottom of the page) over and over till the earliest page, or guessing the highest number and changing it in the address bar etc. There must be a direct way.

If you are talking about the first page of questions, you can do it by going to the second page, and in the URL where it says “page=2”, increase it by 1000’s until you can’t go any higher, then increase it by 100’s, then 10’s, then ones, until you get to the last page. As far as I know, there is no direct method. I can’t provide a link, as it gets outdated as there are more questions. I can link you to the absolute first question.

@PhiNotPi thanks but the URL, is what I meant when I was refering to “guessing the highest number and changing it in the address bar”. Do all these busy people who need to get things fast in emergency situations have to do that?

@flo Yeah, I didn’t read that last part of the question.

It seems to me that you have discovered the secret. I saw it on the community feed.

@PhiNotPi what secret? I still don’t have the answer. Would you lead me (link?)to what you saw in community feed?

I’d tell you, but the CIA will [REDACTED]. (description of an award)

I have a theory that an award is associated with our topic. I may not be right, though.

In case my above response get moderated for revealing too much secret intel, what I saw was that you earned the pilgrim award.
