How much annually does a Mental Practitioner make?

I am a sophomore in highschool and we are looking at colleges. I’ve always wanted to be a psychiatrist, but I want to know that this is a good idea for a job.

It depends a ton on what kind of practitioner they are, what licensing they have, what concentration they have, what special skill they bring to the table, how long they’ve been practicing, etc. MDs can charge a lot more than non-MDs, you can charge a lot more for being trained in EMDR or brainspotting than for not, stuff like that.
Usually, they are at least comfortable.
