Should MTV's Teen Mom Amber Portwood go to jail?

Well, it depends on her record and the sentence for first offenses. It is possible she would get diversion and therapy if it was a first offense.

She would have been charged and arrested where I live. I know they have the proof but I don’t think they’re going to use it to press charges.
But there is something seriously wrong with her.

Her ex-fiance, as they described him on the today show, showed remarkable restraint. She slapped him and punched him in the ear while screaming obsenities at him within inches of his face. She claims to not remember doing anything. At a minimum she needs help, perhaps with an anger management class, but I fear for her daughter if her anger is so hair trigger.

She should be sentenced to something, whether it be jail time or counseling. It makes me wonder what she must act like in private if she was not afraid to be so abusive in front of television cameras.

she’s a rabid maniac and that poor child should be taken away from her.

I’m not sure if I think she should go to jail, but she should definitely have that cute little girl taken away from her and seek help with her anger/crazy issues.
