Are condoms underrated or overrated?
I was looking at the two rating questions and was going to make an entry on condoms, but I thought it might make an interesting question on it’s own. I personally hate the little bastards. But then again I’m not playing the field. What are your thoughts? Jokes, as always, are appreciated.

Ahh the humble yet simple genius of the Rubber Johnny/French letter. Don’t see it’s bubble bursting anytime soon…......pregnant pause to recognise irony there!
They are underrated as change purses and rain hats for Barbie dolls.;)
I think they should be used more often such as one night stands etc…. seriously, it’s a dirty world people!
Birth control is 10x better, both at preventing pregnancy and actually having sex. Though condoms prevent most STD’s, BC doesn’t.
I hate using condoms, because it makes sex less enjoyable, especially without lube. BUT, I use them if need be.

Well, of course, it depends who’s doing the rating, but I would say, generally in U.S. society they are underrated.
They’re one of the most reliable (if not the most reliable) form of birth control as well as the only one that reliably reduces the risk of contracting STIs when used and yet a great many American teenagers are not taught to use them. And of the ones who are taught to use them, only a handful are taught to use them properly. I call that underrated.
Condoms overall I think are underrated, can’t always trust spermicidal lube alone. However I think trojans are overrated, I’ve had to many scares with them.
What @tedd said. I much prefer the sex without them, but don’t want “trouble.” I’m on the pill so i use them for one night stands, but pretty soon into dating someone I propose not using them anymore. I’ve had three relationships where we didn’t use condoms, and the pill has prevailed!
My daughters existance says they’re overrated and I’m glad thay are, shes a cute little monster. But than again it may be my fault, I settled for the regular sized condoms they had on the store shelf.
Overrated in the media, underrated in the bedroom.
