Will apple replace my iphone?

Asked by cbedwards3 (1points) January 14th, 2011

I have the iPhone 3G and today while I was at work, I went to look at my phone and it would not turn on. I have tried to plug into the computer, car charger, wall charger, and tried to reset it and nothing will turn it on. Will apple replace my iphone? any ideas what could be going on? This is the 3rd time it has done this but usually it will boot itself up after 15 min or so. It has been like this for 2–3 hours now.

have you tried performing a hard reset. to do so (first make sure that its charged) you need to hold down both the home + power button for at least 5–10 seconds until you see the white apple show up on screen. the home button is the one on the face. the power button is the one on top of the phone (upper right-hand corner). if it doesnt respond, then the phone may be bricked! hope this helps a bit.
