How to get an Open NAT using Wireless Adapter for Xbox 360?

Asked by JesusWasAJewbot (1510points) April 5th, 2011

I have been going crazy trying to get a stable internet connection while using my Wireless Adapter on my Xbox 360. I can get the Open NAT but when i play things like Call Of Duty i constantly get “Connection Interrupted” as well as my connection going from ¾ Green Bars to 1 Red Bar.

I followed this guide as far as: Port Forwarding, Setting up Static IP, Adding my XBox’s Wireless MAC Addy to the Router Settings Page but everything ive tried has failed to give me a strong signal.

Could it be that my router is too far from the Xbox? Im using a Linksys E1000 router and have already given up and moved the PC closer to my Xbox just to avoid this, but id really like to have it Wireless.

Have you tried setting your port to channel 1? This happens to me once in a while! It gets on my nerves! It may be that you need your router closer to your xbox, or vice versa. Is there anyone else using your internet?
