What's wrong with my Microsoft Word?

Asked by buckyboy28 (4961points) April 14th, 2011

Something is seriously wrong with my Word 2007. When I try to Ctrl-C, it inserts a subset letter “L”, when I try to Ctrl-V, it inserts a subset letter “T”. When I try to Ctrl-A, it inserts a space. It won’t let me highlight text.

It’s acting all around kooky. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Start with restarting the computer.

And check if you get the same behavior in other applications. You keyboard mapping might be screwy.

@math_nerd Restarted it and it’s fine now. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that you don’t even think of! Thanks so much for the help!
