Today is Flip a Coin Day, what decision will you flip a coin on?

Asked by erichw1504 (26453points) June 1st, 2011

Flip a Coin Day is day when making decisions is as easy as flipping a coin. This tradition dates back to Julius Caesar. Caesar would take a coin and flip it to make decisions where the right choice was unclear. The correct answer was “heads”, which of course carried his image on the coin.

So, what decision will you make today based on a flip of a coin? It can be something you need to do, something weird or funny, something simple you do everyday, anything!

Car wash. It has been at least a month, since my Toyota has been to the car wash. I am hesitant because of all the rain we have had in the last three weeks. Can I trust the weather forecast?

They say it might rain tomorrow. This would be about $20 dollars blown to the wind, if the rain occurs after my car wash today. Got a quarter?

This is really a decision for “flip a coin day”.

Tails: I update my resume and crack down on the job hunt.
Heads: I spend another 2 hours on Fluther and Oddee
I think I’ve set a record for number of heads in a row.

I think I’d have to flip a coin to decide which decision to flip a coin for. :O

Here’s a paradox: I will flip a coin on whether or not I should flip a coin.

I switched coins to one that has the options
Go for a run with the dogs
Get flowers for my planter boxes

It’s a far better coin.

@rebbel-By the end of the week! I hope! :)

Heads or Tails: A tornado warning (yes in Northern California) was just issued. Will the (adult) grandsons get caught when they leave the airport with a guest that is visiting for a week?

Vodka or Beer. LOL

Update: The storm cell passed by, followed by a brief appearance of the sun. They came home scot free. Their arrival at home was followed by an even worse storm cell, but it missed them.

@AmWiser Good luck on that one.

@erichw1504 Gas prices, what a hoot! Anyway I decided to go to Sam’s Club and fortunately for me they hadn’t raised the prices yet, so I waited in line for about 25 minutes to buy gas for $3.67.

It landed on the edge of the coin!
