[NSFW!!] Have you ever crossed paths with anyone you have viewed adult entertainment wise?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) July 28th, 2011

[NSFW!!] They say getting involved with porn is like getting a tattoo; best make sure you want it, because more then not, it is usually for life.

Once many years ago, I did a personal experiment. I went to one of the adult sites Spammed to me. I counted all the females on the site, be they part of an ad, or featured on the site. Then I checked out one of the ads on the site or link thereof. Like Neo, I wanted to see if I could find out how far the rabbit hole went. For the next 30 minutes I followed the bread crumbs and counted every female on each place I landed. It was somewhere in the 400 and change to mid 500s. I was thinking there has to be 10s of thousands or millions of women out there who has a pic somewhere in cyber space nude or having sex. Be it an amateur site where you can upload your own content, to the gonzo low budget sites that don’t have any pizzazz just straight boinking, boinking, and more boinking, to personal sites women put up for themselves. I also thought, I never crossed paths with any that I know of. Never been at Mickey Ds and thought ”Oh, my, that is that girl from such and such site, who was boinking two dudes on the John Deere.”. Have you ever run across any woman you have seen in porn or thought you have? If you have or think you did, where was it you seen them, grocery store, gas station, lingerie shop, etc? [NSFW!!]

I thought you meant someone you had viewed porn with, as in, a friend sitting next to you. You should re-word the title of this question to something like ”....Have you ever crossed paths with a porn star?”

Because using porn in the title makes it too obscene from what I gather from past experience. I would have love to come straight like that, but have to keep the question out of the peatmod, or it will sink away and nomone will ever read it. ;-P

I have never met or seen a porn star on the street.

Years back I went to a Consumers Eletronics Show and they all were there. No big deal ans actually kind gross to see all these fats disgusting guys all drooling over them. The pay has to be phenominal to endure that kind of shit.

Nah, i think it works as follows: You go to the mall and spend some hours there.
You visit a burger shop, a shoe repair shop, a grocery, a tavern, a juweler, a clothing shop, another clothing shop and you finish the day in a bar.
Next week you go the beach and sure enough, the girl from behind the counter in the burger shop is also there, as is that cashier girl from the second clothing shop.
Big chance you wouldn’t recognize them anymore.
The occasions of the meetings were too superficial and ‘meaningless’ that your brains didn’t think it important enough to etch them for future recognition.
Of course this is what I made up, not at all scientific.

No porn stars, but I’ve photographed a number of X-Playmates over the years, after their Playmate fame has worn off. Some of them try to become commercial models. One of life’s great disappointments is seeing a Playmate without hair & makeup done, sitting at the styling station picking their nose while dribbling cappuccino on big fake boobies.

I have never encountered a porn star…......... BUT

One time during my own .. ahem… research I found a picture of a girl I know (and dated for about a week) on an amateur site during a rather…... intimate moment.

Later a friend linked me to a website that featured a wet t-shirt contest that a few girls we’d gone to high school with happened to take part in (one of them we knew had become a stripper though so that wasn’t entirely shocking).

While working as a manager at a downtown Minneapolis hotel, there was a party going on in one of the suites that grew so loud that other guests were complaining. I went up to talk to them about it, and they were very kind and considerate. They said that they were heading out as soon a a few other people arrived and would wait in the lobby.

When the mass gathered in the lobby, I hung out with them and chatted. The only two I remember was this really tall guy named Larry dressed up in a wig, make-up, a leather mini skirt and heels. The other was this short, bronzed muscular guy in black leather. They paid their bill and left as soon as the friends showed up.

One of the male desk clerks on duty looked at me with astonishment and asked, “Do you know who the guy in the black leather you were talking to is???” Nope, had no clue. The clerk said, “He is a famous porn star!”

So, to answer your question, I have not, but obviously the co-worker has experienced this.

I was good friends with a guy who ended up in Playgirl and dated him a few years after his, umm, exposure. We were such good friends I totally forgot about his nudie pix until one of my female friends literally put her hands around my throat and screamed when I told her we were dating. Extreme jealousy, I guess- gak!
I was also good friends with a male stripper and a female stripper. And if you’re wondering, I haven’t done anything, I’m just friends with people who have.

@linguaphile If you had, so what? I am engaged now and would never drool over your pics LOL LOL

@Hypocrisy_Central gak! Haha! Glad you’re engaged because I don’t have pix for anyone to drool over. I like my clothes where they are, on my body, but I respect people who do it for a living. Hell, if I didn’t have respect, I wouldn’t have had 3 friends who had these jobs.
