Ok so I’ve blocked a few people off Facebook but still have friends in common. Can don’t want them to figure out I’ve blocked them. Thanks.

Nope. they can’t see anything you write at all they wont be able to look you up its completly blocked off.

If you block them and they can’t see what you write/say it’s normal they will figure out you blocked them. If you have activity every 2–3 days after a few weeks they’ll know it.

If you post on a link or comment by a mutual friend,or in a group, or on a page for something you both follow, the people you block will still see those. They can also see if a mutual friend tags you in a photo or names you in a location.

@Blueroses False. @Nonamechick is correct sorry.

@Paul I don’t think that’s true, I think @Blueroses is correct. They just can’t view your profile or your wall or your posts. They can see things that you post to mutual friends.

I’ve blocked someone who I have mutual friends with. They can’t see my posts on my friends walls and I can’t see theirs. If one of our mutual friends responds to what I write on their wall by saying “Thanks Janet, that’s really funny” the person who is blocked will see the post by the mutual friend, but not your post, and think the mutual friend is talking to herself since there is no post above hers. The blocked person will figure out you blocked her though because the mutual friend included your name in a post.

make sense? sorry. still trying to wake up

Maybe they’ve made some improvements based on user complaints, but my ex, the stalker, was still able to figure out my FB alias through my being tagged on a mutual friend’s photo even though I had the bastard on my “blocked” list. He could also see my comments on that photo.

They will not be able to see posts made in mutual friend’s threads; However, if your friends reply to you in the thread the lack of context would give it away that they were blocked.

Thanks everyone. To be honest if they figure it out I’m not bothered. I just don’t want them to see anything at all.
