Are there any new songs or music artists that you just discovered?

Pretty much as asked. Although, the songs/artists don’t necessarily have to be new in general, they can just be new to you, if you’d like!

As for me, I’ve completely fallen for Pumped Up Kicks, and have been consistently impressed with what I’ve heard of Foster the People so far. I definitely think I’m going to pick up their album. Even though the song’s subject matter is terrible, there’s something I can’t help but like about this song.

I found this all female gothic/extreme metal band from Puerto Rico called “Matriarch”. It’s like Carcass, After forever and Cradle of Filth.

Kings of Convenience has become one of my favorites recently. It’s soft, sincere indie-folk that to me says quiet, restful, peaceful… I could listen to this song for hours.

“The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie” from T R H C P. The guitar riffs are pretty good.

I have looked and listened and I have yet to discover a decent song, since the early 80s.

Sorry, they are just not there.

@john65pennington Well that’s just like, your opinion, man.

I’ve been liking the new M83, even though it is a lot more poppy than their last releases.

The Chords, specifically their song “Sh-Boom”....yes I realize it is 60 years old. But alas, I was born 50 years too late. :(

They’re not new, but they’re new to me.
Almost Lover
Make Me Wanna Die. Not suggested if you’re a wimp.

I didn’t know about the Temper Trap, I hadn’t listened to The Weepies too in a while. I also started listening to Regina Spektor.

DeanV, do you ever listen to songs on Youtube. If you do, you should read the comments that younger people write at the bottom of the videos. 90% agree with me that the good music is no more.

Check it out.
